Troubleshooting Steps

Verify the proxy configuration on your client computer.

Do you have a VPN, such as ExpressVPN, running in the background? VPNs override network proxy settings so try disabling it.

Check proxy settings in the browser, these could be overriding the network proxy settings.

Clear browser cache, or use an incognito browser window.

Disable browser extensions.

Try an alternate browser.

Verify that the website supports basic auth.
